Stock is adjusted manually when you count the physical inventory and the quantity differs from the system / when merchandise arrives from the supplier / when there are losses or damages / or when a product returns to stock due to an internal return. Sales and customer returns adjust stock automatically.
Find the product
Go to Products and search for the product to adjust.
Go to inventory
In the product details, go to the Inventory or Stock section.
Click Adjust stock
The adjustment form opens.
Enter new stock
Current stock — Displayed automatically (e.g., 45)
New stock — The actual quantity you have (e.g., 50)
Reason — Why you're adjusting: Goods receipt / Inventory adjustment / Loss or Damage / Internal return / Other
Note — Additional details (optional)
Confirm
Stock updates immediately. The difference is recorded in the history.
Movement history
Each adjustment is recorded with date / movement type / stock before and after / reason / user who made it. This gives you full traceability of how stock evolved.
Bulk adjustment (physical inventory)
If you need to adjust many products at once:
Go to Products → Inventory Adjustment
Upload an Excel file with SKU and actual stock
The system compares and adjusts all
Useful for periodic inventories.
Low stock alerts
When stock reaches the configured minimum you receive: notification in the system / email (if configured) / badge in the products module. This alerts you that it's time to restock.
